Welcome to Bakin' it Keto Bakery!

Your hometown cottage bakery in McKinney, TX.

Our family started the low carb journey way back in 2017 when 10-year-old Madison was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.  Initially following the tired protocol of "eat what you like and cover with insulin, "we quickly learned that roller-coaster blood sugar levels and insulin resistance was a perfect storm for poor control, obesity, and complications.  We knew there had to be a better way- a management solution.

After much research, we came across the Ketogenic diet that both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetics were following with much success.  Increased energy, weight management, and excellent blood sugar control, led our family to make this lifestyle change. 

We started off with buying our first Keto cookbook and a Kitchen-Aid mixer... we were off to the races! 

Turning high carb classics Keto, we dabbled and dived into the wide variety of flours, oils, sweeteners and flavorings. 

Through trial and error, we collected Keto baking secrets, learned from experts in the Keto world, and have proudly honed our baking skills. 

   We thoroughly enjoy the wonderful, wholesome food that the Keto lifestyle offers. Bakin’ It Keto wants to stroll alongside you on your low carb journey!
